Announcing Contrary Motion 2025 on June 18 and 20! Contrary Motion is a celebration of experimental chamber music by queer composers in honor of Pride Month. Showcasing snapshots of queer history, the concerts will feature works by artist ancestors like John Cage and Pauline Oliveros, contemporary music by Caroline Shaw and Leilahua Lanzilotti, and world premieres by local Ohio composers. We are delighted to be joined again by a team of independent local artists to collaborate in building a revival of experimental chamber music.
