Bodies Within celebrates and recognizes how we are in spaces. A collaborative show between Elaff Houmsse, Hannah Buss, Joleanna Bare, and Reagan Joseph Rico invites you to view different areas and ideas of introspection and perception of the world we are in and how the world affects us.

Elaff Houmsse and Hannah Buss’ collaborative pieces from Excuse Us explores creative collaboration and artworks as an active participant in dialogue and conversation. They transform the gallery into a playground that invites open conversation about art, self, and perception.

Joleanna Bare creates a social narrative that gives diversity, public health, and many other timely topics a place for conversation and meaning. Her work creates an illustrative story of how the world impacts us and others.

Reagan Joseph Rico’s project, The Autonomous and Their Vices, explores our own limits to freedom and consuming what is around us in the absence of freedom. Through ironic presentations of paintings, drawings, and writings, she explores how physical items represent choice and autonomy, while also carrying harm to us.
