What is Wild Art Columbus (WAC)?
Wild Art Columbus (WAC) is one of the most exciting arts events in Columbus. With pieces starting at just $100, WAC provides a consistent and accessible platform for art collecting. Since 2019, we've sold over 500 pieces and connected hundreds of local artists with interested buyers.
Works from emerging to established local artists will be offered at our silent auction, with 50% of the sale paid to the artist and the other 50% supporting Wild Goose Creative's mission to build a creative community at the intersection of art, risk and meaning by offering 320+ activities and programs throughout the year.
How do I show my art?
Using the button above, interested artists can submit up to 3 pieces for consideration by Friday, November 7th. Artists must submit images of their work, along with the title, medium, and dimensions. There are no size restrictions — we trust you to submit work that makes sense for the price point of the event. All artwork must be framed, if applicable, and ready to hang/display. Our drop off dates will be December 3rd - 5th from 1-5pm. If your work sold during the event, we will communicate when you may pick up your check.
How will this work?
The event will take place IN PERSON on Friday, December 12th from 7 to 9 p.m.
All works for sale will be on display at Wild Goose Creative. The first person to bid on a piece will be able to purchase it for $100…But, wait! You can 'GOOSE' other buyers by increasing your payment for the piece by $25, thereby increasing your support. The first GOOSE will pay $125, the second GOOSE $150, and so on.
All winning buyers must pay for their purchases the night of and may take their coveted prize home with them at the end of the evening.
